LETTERS to the EDITOR

Hi Steve,

Since, for a number of reasons, I must thin out my collections, I'm considering selling my H-43 collection. This includes photos, documents, Charlie Kaman's book, and items such as patches, a rare Kaman pocket knife, and billfold presented to early pilots - both have aircraft emblazoned on them. Please let me know if the organization or anyone is interested and I can produce a detailed list.

Thanks,

 Wayne Mutza

Anyone interested in any H-43 memorabilia should contact Wayne at: WMUTZA@wi.rr.com

Steve,
Just wanted to let you know that restoration on the Pedro is moving along.  The only hold up might be funding to get it painted, I was wondering if you could reach out and touch the Pedro Flyers and see if they could help with donations for the painting, we are looking at around $4500.00.

If the guys would like to donate they can send their donations to:
Military Firefighters Heritage Foundation
Pedro Restoration Fund
PO BOX 60241
San Angelo, Texas 76906

For Donations over $250.00 we will have a brick made with the donors requested info

It is a black granite brick with three lines of text 18 characters in length each.
If you have a good electronic file of the Air Rescue Patch, I can have that cut into the brick also.
