INTRODUCTION

With this edition, we start our fourth year of the

PEDRO NEWS.

Neither Paul nor I ever envisioned the popularity or the success of reuniting so many former crew members and friends. We really have become one big  PEDRO’S POSSE.

There were times that we thought the “well had run dry”, but always, sometimes even at the last minute, someone would contribute a story, a joke, or something that just made the next edition possible.

I just received an offer from (PJ) Bob LaPointe, author of “PJs in NAM”.

He was clearing out his research material and ran across a copy of the 3rd ARRG Joint Search & Rescue Center log listing all S.E.A. rescues starting with Rescue 01. He has offered it to us. It is this type of unselfishness that continues to ensure our future existence as a quality publication. THANKS Bob and a special thanks to all our other contributers who have helped in this successful endeavor
