THE EDITOR’S CORNER
As
I first told you in our January Inaugural Edition we have continued to evolve,
change and hopefully improve. Thanks to the response from some of our readers,
we’ve had the material to provide you with what we think, is an interesting and
quality publication. We still have some material to for future editions, but we
need you, our readers to supply us with additional stories, information and
photos. If you’re worried about not being a professional writer, don’t, we’ll
help in making any needed corrections and with sprucing “your” article up.
The PEDRO NEWS
Staff is in the final stages of
creating the PEDRO NEWS Screen Saver. It contains over 150 photos and graphics of
H-43s and personnel with descriptions and background music. As an incentive for
those who submit stories, articles or material published in the PEDRO NEWS,
you will receive a free copy. And
for those individuals that have had stories published in past editions, you too
will be receiving your copies.
Also,
we are considering changing the format of The Old Guard . In the future, rather than attempting to
cover the entire history of a specific Detachment, we would like to
present stories and photos by individuals. These stories will cover interesting
events, friends and crewmembers and your photos will help illustrate the story.
Any volunteers??
As
Paul and I have stated several times without your help, we can not
continue to bring you the PEDRO NEWS.
