THOUGHTS
Well gang, can you believe
that the next edition of the “Pedro News” will start our 2nd year?
We have truly been blessed by the availability of the Internet. Who would have
thought that after 40 years we would be back in touch with many of our old,
dear, friends? Many of the stories and pictures you have sent to Steve and me
have brought back fond memories of our “time-served” with our old friend
“Pedro”. We hope that we have been able to bring you the same joy that was ours
upon receiving the story material. Don’t worry, I’m not gonna
get all mushy on you!!!! Just think
about how far we’ve come over the past year. Steve and I purposely chose NOT to
start an “Organization” as there are a bunch of them out there. Instead, we
decided to attempt to become a news and networking
operation in hopes of bonding us all together through an “E-Magazine”
information network. We hope you enjoyed this edition and we promise to try as
best we can to maintain the quality and accuracy level of this publication. As
always, we need your support to keep us going. It is YOUR stories that we enjoy
telling and without YOU, we are nothing!!!! Keep the
good stuff coming and we’ll do our best to put it out there for you.
One
last thing. The Pedro Web Site is up and running now.
We will continue to refine it as we go (I’m just learning web design). Since
the Newsletters only come out four times a year, we usually have a lot of
pictures to post. Pictures, even though I edit them for size, add to the
download time. We could do a “text only” format but what fun would that be. It
would also make us look like all the other E-newsletters out there. So each
quarter, for those of you who have slower modems (56k), allow about 5-10
minutes of download time. For those of you who have “Web-TV”, you don’t have to
worry about pdf’s anymore.
