INTRODUCTION

This is the beginning of our 5th year, so Paul and I want to thank everyone for your loyalty, encouragement, and help.

As we’ve said before, “without you, the PEDRO NEWS would not exist”. We’re in the midst of changing Servers, upgrading the Web Site, and Paul retiring and moving to the “Sunshine State”, so please bear with us.

Special Note From Paul:

We have run into a slight problem with the company who was originally scheduled to host (pedronews.com). What we've done is to capture the (pedronews.org) domain name. It now officially belongs to us. I will continue to pursue ownership of pedronews.com but for now it's months away. We are however officially:

 www.pedronews.org

We hope you and all of your families have had a very happy holiday season and we wish you only the best for 2007.

Paul and I will do our very best to maintain a quality production with the Pedro News.

Before we get into the Newsletter, we have a report from

The Flight Surgeon

(P) Jim Murtha has  been diagnosed with cancer and is currently receiving chemo and radiation treatment. He is an old HH-43 driver and served with many of the last generation PJs.

Jim has been a long time friend of the PJ community and was OIC of several PJ Sections from North Africa to Hamilton AFB. Many of the old timers know him and have a high regard for him. I will keep you up-to-date as treatment progresses.
