INTRODUCTION
Hello my “Pedro Brothers” and welcome to the inaugural edition of the “PEDRO NEWS”. Back in April of this year Steve Mock, Denny Harmon and I re-united through a message board on the Web. Having served together in DET2, 40th ARRWg, RAF Upper Heyford, England we hadn’t been in contact with each other for over thirty years. Since April, we have managed to not only re-connect with our old “flight mates” but have also begun to establish a global “PEDRO FAMILY”. This newsletter is being created for you to finally have a forum that will hopefully help you contact old friends, make comments (good or bad) about our Air Force experiences and tell us YOUR STORIES. We think we’ve put together a great “first issue” but in order to keep it going we are going to need all the
For your convenience, we have included “LINKS”. As you look over this newsletter, you will notice a number of blue, underlined web addresses beginning with www. Their purpose is to give you the ability to go directly to the web site simply by “double clicking” the “LINK”. We’ll give you news information and then refer you to a web site in order to explore the topic a little deeper. We try out each of these links before publication, but there are many other factors beyond our control as to whether they might actually work for you. If they don’t work, another method to connect would be the old “copy & paste” method. If you should have problems linking to a site, email me with your name and a phone number and I’ll be happy to lend some “tech support”. You will also find Email addresses linked the same way. Just “double click” the email address and it should take you to your “new email” screen.
Well, it’s time to “fire up” this bird and let you all kick back and enjoy yourselves.
As Steve would say, “we’ve got one “Sierra Hotel” newsletter for you.
