INTRODUCTION
Here we go for yet another fantastic issue.
Before I get started, I'd like to take a minute and thank the guys from the Dover AFB Air Museum for their hospitality on Sunday March 25th. After a long week, my wife & I decided to go "douney oschin" (as they say in Baltimore). We drove back on Sunday and decided to stop by and visit their museum ( It's been on my agenda for some time now....)
Well, I got to lay my hands upon 62-4532 and since it was first time I'd seen or touched an HH-43 in 40 years, you can imagine my excitement, especially since I flew on 4533 and 4535.
I'm not going to go into detail here (I'll probably use it as a future story) but I wanted to thank the folks at Dover for making a great attempt to show off their HH-43 and Pedro's history. They made me feel right at home and was actually welcomed back (ME????) No, I'm not really that bad.
We're going to help them with their flightsim project and hopefully be a resource for them for HH-43 material. Any of you who live near Dover should really take the time to visit them. The museum is outstanding (More to come)
Again, museum staff, Thank you very much!!!!!!
